The third piece in my painting series. This was meant to show a figure made out of some natural material (dirt, rock, a tree, etc.) and looking mysterious out in the moonlight. I'm still up in the air over whether or not I like it...
My professor called it a "Figure Landscape," and that sparked another idea, so expect a sort of companion piece soon.
This is definitely one of those pieces that is "never quite done". I know ALL about those. I'm not sure if it was frustrating for you, but what I can tell you I'm sure of is that the lighting and angle of this piece is incredibly well done. Also, you have an interesting choice of colors... but color isn't something I pay attention too that often. Cough... cough...
Being completely honest -- the falloff of the lighting in the corner seems a little choppy to me -- but at the same time it goes along with the painting's theme. So even that isn't a big deal.
The bottom line is -- Your work has always been original and interesting. So just keep it up kiddo.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
