Holy Chicken

I wasn't sure what section to put this in... it isn't really purely of an animal, it isn't really pop art or surreal, so I went with other. This was done in encaustic (wax and oil paint). The assignment was to incorporate the sacred and the profane.

EDIT: This piece is being donated to the charity auction "Art For Arf's Sake" for the Humane Society of Berk's County ^^!
